The parameters and data contained in these reports are from multiple sources across the national fuel distribution system. These reports contain the statistical analysis of the data received only and not the raw data itself. Clean Fuels makes no claims as to the accuracy of the data obtained nor to the representative nature of this analysis to any fuel batch across the U.S.
About
The National Biodiesel Accreditation Commission (NBAC) created the BQ-9000 quality assurance program to help biodiesel producers, fuel distributors and consumers develop more confidence in the purchase and use of biodiesel, in any application. The cornerstone to any fuel program is quality. As such, from 2017 – 2024, the NBAC authorized the data collection and statistical analysis of fuel quality data from BQ-9000 Producers on an annual basis. The National Lab of the Rockies (formerly the National Renewable Energy Laboratory) helped to publish these annual reports which demonstrated that biodiesel fuel quality, from accredited BQ-9000 Producers, exceeded the consensus ASTM quality specifications found in D6751, for all parameters. When blended into today’s diesel fuel, biodiesel is a proven renewable fuel with performance benefits and carbon reductions for today’s high pressure common rail engine technologies.
Following upon those annual biodiesel reports, Clean Fuels Alliance America (Clean Fuels) is now offering National Fuel Quality Reports for even more fuel products on an annual basis. These reports include statistical quality analysis for:
